First Anniversary

Yesterday marked one year since my wife and I got hitched. We didn't do much. Had a nice lunch, got her a new alarm clock, ate one-year-old wedding cake. The usual stuff. The cake was suprisingly good. Of course, it was frozen all year. More as it comes.

Stereotyping Is Retarded

My wife and I recently acquired a rottweiler puppy, who we named Adara and with whom we fell in love. We just discovered two days ago (after having her for 2 months) that the mobile home community (heretofore referred to as trailer park or simply park) in which we live does not allow rottweilers due to insurance reasons. BTW, we own our home. It belongs to us. We are not renting from the trailer park. Still, the park's insurance refuses liability on rotts. I have seen several "allowed" dogs that are several times more vicious and dangerous than our Adara, and several rotts that were kinder than the Dalai-Lama. Stereotyping even across the species gap is wrong. Sorry for the downer speech. Just had to rant.

I am trying to get back into the whole web networking thing. I am going to try and post here at least once a month and check all of my sites regularly. If you want to know if I am on a certain network site, just look for SelfDeemedFreak. That's me. I use that name on most sites. Wish me luck.

Just an Update

Just coming back to say I am still unemployed. However, my wife did just start her new job, so we at least have a little income. I will keep looking and I hope I will still be getting good luck wishes. Now for the lighter side of news: We are almost done with our old apartment. This week we will clean out the piece of crap. Also, we finished getting our house fixed up. We are able to close all doors, we have all our knobs and molding installed, and we just finished putting up the skirting. It's very nice. Until I have more, wish me luck.
